Terms and Conditions for Ceda Healthcare Weight Management Clinic

1. Eligibility

  • All patients must be over 18 years old.
  • A valid government-issued ID must be provided during registration for identity verification.
  • Patients must complete a thorough health assessment questionnaire prior to starting the program.
  • BMI criteria: Patients must have a BMI of at least 30, or a BMI of 27 with associated comorbidities such as type 2 diabetes or hypertension.

2. Program Medications

    • Mounjaro Pricing:

2.5mg: £149 + £10 delivery charge
5mg: £169 + £10 delivery charge
7.5mg, 10mg: £189 + £10 delivery charge
12.5mg, and 15mg: £215 + £10 delivery charge

  • Wegovy Pricing:
    0.25mg £149 + £10 delivery charge
    0.5mg £169 + £10 delivery charge
    1mg: £189 + £10 delivery charge
    1.7mg: £215 + £10 delivery charge
    2.4mg: £265 + £10 delivery charge
  • First appointment includes prescription medication. Further pens to be requested and purchased by patient monthly. One pen will be prescribed at a time.
  • Medications are subject to availability, and prices are subject to change with prior notice.

3. Mandatory Consultations

  • Patients must attend regular video consultations (1 free video appointment every 12 weeks included in the cost).
  • Non-compliance with consultation requirements may result in suspension or termination of the program.

4. Safety and Medical Compliance

  • These medications are high-risk and must be used under strict medical supervision.
  • Long-term data on the safety and efficacy of these medications is limited and ongoing.
  • If the patient is suspected of having an eating disorder or their BMI falls below 27, the program will be terminated immediately for safety reasons.
  • Patients must immediately report any side effects or adverse reactions to Ceda Healthcare’s medical team.

5. Legal Disclaimers

  • Weight loss medications, including Mounjaro and Wegovy, are not guaranteed to result in weight loss. Results will vary based on individual adherence to prescribed treatments, lifestyle changes, and other factors.
  • This program is not a substitute for ongoing medical care from a GP or other healthcare providers.
  • Patients are required to disclose all relevant medical conditions and medications to avoid contraindications. Ceda Healthcare is not responsible for undisclosed health conditions that may impact the program’s effectiveness or safety.

6. Program Termination and Refunds

  • Ceda Healthcare reserves the right to terminate a patient’s participation in the program if safety concerns arise or if the patient fails to comply with medical advice or program requirements.
  • Refunds will not be issued for unused medications, missed consultations, or partial program usage.

7. Complaints Procedure

  • All complaints will be handled by the Medical Department at Ceda Healthcare.
  • Complaints should be submitted in writing via email or letter to the address provided below. Ceda Healthcare aims to resolve all complaints within 28 days of receipt.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • All personal and medical data will be handled in compliance with the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Patient data will only be shared with authorised medical professionals involved in the program or as required by law.

9. Risks and Warnings

  • By joining the program, patients acknowledge the risks associated with weight loss medications, including but not limited to gastrointestinal side effects, nausea, vomiting, hypoglycemia, or other adverse reactions.
  • Patients understand that the long-term safety of medicated self administered pens is not fully established, and they accept these risks when participating in the program.

10. Indemnity

  • Patients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ceda Healthcare and its staff from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from non-compliance with program requirements or from the use of prescribed medications.

11. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
